I have been a tutor and teacher for seventeen years and was a homeschool mom for eight. I really enjoy teaching and talking with students. Education should be fun and engaging and teach kids how to learn and how to really think not just know. I graduated from BYU with degrees in Spanish and History. I have since completed the CSET tests for Math which is my first love. I taught with Celebration Education for years and now I'm excited to continue with Intentional Learning 4 you.

Chiara’s passion for personalized education began in third grade when she asked to be homeschooled so she could explore learning beyond the traditional classroom. That early choice shaped her journey—from dancing, swimming, gymnastics, and diving as a student, to studying at UC Berkeley, and ultimately homeschooling her own four children.

Chiara has deep roots in alternative education. She helped build and scale her mother’s charter school program, Summit Academy, eventually serving as Director of Operations. With over five years of experience in finance and over 10 years in entrepreneurship, she brings both heart and business savvy to IL4Y.

Intentional Learning 4 You is a full-circle moment—a labor of love inspired by her family’s legacy in learning styles education. Chiara is proud to carry forward a vision of flexible, engaging, and individualized learning experiences for students and families.

Teshia is a rare blend of creativity and business acumen. A Communications graduate from Cal State Fullerton, she has a deep love for theater, self-expression, and helping children find their voice through movement, drama, and play. Her creative talents shine in our themed day programs, where she encourages students to lead with curiosity and confidence.

Beyond the classroom, Teshia plays a key role in IL4Y’s business operations. With a strong background in finance and administration, she manages budgeting, invoicing, and helps ensure the behind-the-scenes systems run smoothly. Teshia’s unique ability to balance artistic passion with organizational structure makes her an invaluable part of the IL4Y leadership team.
